This film was extraordinary. I had my own expectations when I decided to watch this movie but I ended up wrong. Why? because the story was all about reality:  infidelity, betrayal, career and family struggles. But there was one thing I've felt upon watching the movie and that was the kindest love and patience that a man showed to his wife during the time that he was totally a stranger for her and couldn't even remember a little memory of him.

I realized that sometimes love can really be taught as well as it can be learned. It's all a matter of decision and commitment and this is exactly what the film was all about. In the end, Paige still didn't remember even a single memory of her married life and the man she truly loves but she was taught and learned that their vows meant for a lifetime.

24th

Yes, this is the legal day (based on my birth certificate) of my birthday. How hilarious is that? because of one mistake, it turned out to be my birth date has been moved for 2 months hahaha. Well, I still consider the original date which is January 13. Oh yes, I celebrated my birthday and became 24 last January.

Well, what can I say for myself having an official age of 24? I really don't know. Maybe I could say I'm old enough? or still YOUNG for many things? Actually, sometimes I feel like I wanna grow old fast as my figure and look is telling me that I have grown so much. If you could just see me personally, you would really not believe that I'm still 24! hahah. There was one time, a stranger thought of me being 39 (I almost cried :D) though I can't help myself but wonder what would really be my look when I reach that age? Maybe I'm already twice as fat as my memoy (my mom's sister) having an all white grown hair and thousands of wrinkles on my head and face. OMG! I couldn't just imagine my friends and relatives will not notice me anymore.

Okay, insecurities alert!. Let's not talk about things that are not happening yet cause the future's still not ours to see right?. I've been thinking what are the things I'd like to do upon having this age and beyond. Well, I have tons of list but let me share some of the things I'd like to achieve at the present and in the future as well:

1. To Travel

I'm not a traveler ever since the world began so this is one thing I would really love to try. Though this is a costly adventure but God will make a way (wink). I've been wanting to travel to different and beautiful places but I don't have enough luxurious time and money to make it happen.



2. To have music lessons and learn to play a guitar/piano



I love music. I'm exposed to it ever since I was a kid but unfortunately, I was not oriented or even had a chance to learn to play any music equipment of my own. Maybe I can try this soon once I have enough motivation and eagerness.






3. To read any best-seller/english books


Lately, I've been tempted to buy any volume of Chicken Soup for the Soul by Jack Canfield but I haven't gotten the chance and money to spoil this particular want. But I will really try my best to read and patronize his books. I promise. ^_^ (excited)



 






4. To have my own house


How is that possible?. Well, I believe it is indeed possible for me to have my own house in the future where I can stay with my own family. I think everyone dreamed of having a house of their own and I knew a few people who actually achieved this at a very young age so I admire their hardwork and desire.








5. To work in a very stable and prestigious company

As a professional, I have always dreamed of working in a very prestigious company where I can be stable and grow more in the field/industry I'm in. A company where I could last for many years contributing good values and in demand skills. An organization where I can fit in and the people I'm working with have the same desires that I have and we are on the same track building a wonderful future. An environment where I can be myself and possibly develop the different aspects of my career path. Having a job that I will forever love and earning a satisfactory compensation. I'm really praying for this. :-)

6. To have an ideal figure and weight


Well, this is one of my frustrating dreams and I admit that I really don't have the proper discipline to watch my eating habit. I have a very weak and slow metabolism, always constipated, irregular menstruation, always stressed at work, sleeping late, don't exercise and a lot more facts why I don't lose weight and continuing to live unhealthily. Well, this dream should be a strict goal soon and I will really try my best and exert all the efforts I know to have a healthy lifestyle and better living for my own good. So help me God!
 



7. To live and possess more Christian values

As a religious community member, I've been trying to strengthen my Christian values by living to it faithfully. I know I'm not perfect and not deserving enough since I was born a great sinner but I believe my faith and the blessings I have been receiving which I'm so grateful will bring me to the right path and entrusting fully my life to our God.

What a Year It Has Been ~ 2011

They say that there's no such thing as "unlucky" but because there are just some instances in our lives that we can't just control nor have the power to manipulate on what's gonna happen next. As the song says "Que sera sera, whatever will be will be, the future's not ours to see, Que sera sera..." and that's it.

Well, the year 2011 for me was the most memorable year in my entire life. You may want to ask me why?. Okay let me give you a brief summary:


Change of heart...
Let's just say that there were people who suddenly changed their hearts and minds. Betrayal became an issue and many innocent lives were affected because of those "ambushed" actions they've done. Well, everyone just decided to move on not knowing the consequences that are pending to be resolved. But the truth will come out soon as well as justice prevails. In the end, God is still the judge of everything so I just TRUST HIM as much as I could.


Nature Cries

One thing I've learned when we were affected by typhoon sendong(washi) was only the thought: when the nature strikes you, there's nothing you can do but SURVIVE. Indeed, we survived and we will always be grateful for that. It was not easy at first thinking that we almost lost everything we've had except our concrete walls and floors. I couldn't just imagine how my grandma and aunt hopped from different roofs just to go to higher places and they ended up on a 2-storey house. As they gathered on that house with our neighbors, the flood still reached at their chest level (really scary). There was almost no Christmas and new year celebrated during that time as people were wounded, mourned for the death of their relatives and friends, searched for the missing loved ones and almost all possible reasons why holiday season was not felt by many. After a month, typhoon victims continued to seek for help and assistance as many have lost their homes and some couldn't just recover that fast for food and basic needs were prioritized. I then reflected and realized more how fortunate I am to be with my family alive and kicking and having our own living, eating more than 3 times a day, having a shelter that's keeping us united, descent clothes we can wear and many more things we still have because of God's generosity and goodness. December 17, 2011 (dawn) was one of my unforgettable dates and it will always be remembered by people who witnessed and felt how nature cried and got destroyed by abusing hands of humans. As victims, it changed our lives into another direction which will always bring us many lessons to learn.

People make mistakes either they are aware of it or not. Sometimes it takes a lot of time and courage to admit it but in the end, still the truth will prevail. As humans, we  don't want our reputation and dignity to be degraded.. Exactly, never be satisfied with flowery words as those will just make you being used and taken for granted. Make him prove every word he utters.

Guys: a woman can be with any man in the world, But yet she chose you. Don't take her for granted.
I bet those guys don't deserve to be treated fairly and most of all don't deserve to be loved and respected. Stay away from these kind of guys.

Call me old fashioned, but I actually take relationships seriously.
Of course, if the guy isn't serious to you and to your relationship then leave him alone. Make him realize what's the feeling of being taken for granted.

Cebu Island Buffet

A group of Filipino freelancers spent their summer getaway and team outing at Marigondon Beach Lapu-Lapu City Cebu. The venue was held at Cebu Island Buffet which offered island hopping experience and delicious buffet meals. Fortunately, I was able to taste the experience as I was accompanied by my boyfriend (koyamad), who happened to be one of the PHP Programmers. Wasn't it sweet?! of course hehe. The outing was actually sponsored by their Australian Client.

For me, it was a very cool experience even if I have not gotten the chance to sleep. During the tour, we enjoyed the water that almost fed us during our travel and the freshest air we could ever breathe. We were also given the chance to dive to the water near the islands using  life jackets, snorkels and gargles that were included on the package. It was really fun and worth the try for all of us. We all have enjoyed the island hopping experience  and at the same time we didn't missed the remaining days of summer season. To give you some bites from our trip , here are some shots taken:

My Top Ten Best Korean Movies

During college days, I happened to watch Korean movies and since then I became a fan of Korean films specifically romantic ones. After watching few films, I realized that Korean are really good actors because they really give justice to the films they're making. They can do superb drama, actions, comedy and anything that's really entertaining. When it comes to acting, Korean actors are really passionate about it and I admire them for that. So here are my top ten favorite Korean movies.

1. Innocent Steps

Genre: Romance, Comedy, Dance, Drama

Casts: Moon Geun Young, Park Geon-hyeong 
What I can i say? Well, this movie made me cry, laugh, and even made me dance like a frustrated dance-sport participant. This movie is worth watching.

2. A Moment to Remember

Genre: Drama, Comedy, Romance
Casts:  Ye-jin Son, Ye-jin Son 
What can I say? Hmmm this movie made me cry a river.

 3. My Sassy Girl

Genre: Romance, Comedy, Drama

Casts: Gianna Jun, Tae-hyun Cha 
What can I say? Funny and romantic. Love never complains.

4. 200 Pounds Beauty

Genre: Romance, Musical, Drama, Comedy

Casts: Ah-jung Kim, Jin-mo Ju 
What can I say? Well I can relate!. Just watch and learn something. 

5. Il Mare

Those were my most favorite Korean movies of all time. If you're gonna ask me about any synopsis then I would have to say not this time. Unluckily, I tried to include the storyline of each movie but all my drafts were gone by the wind in just one mistake "I FORGOT TO SAVE THE FILE". I couldn't retrieve any last saved file so everything went a mess for me. Well, just enjoy the photos posted which I grabbed from Mr. Google.
